Hand made from beautiful turquoise glass with a deep teal swirl. The swans are painted and kiln-fired on vintage clear glass. The white of the swans is enamelled and fired.

The swans beaks have been painted with silver stain. Silver stain is a technique developed in the 13th Century and which gives stained glass its name. It gives a range of colours from deep amber to pale yellow and is considered an art in itself.

Measures just over 8 inches in diameter plus the hook. Each of the swans has a character all of their own, just like real swans.
