The Hare and The Tortoise Fable, Stained Glass Window Panel

This stained glass window is “The Hare and the Tortoise” ia classic fable (Aesop’s Fables) where a race is won by the slow tortoise! 🐢 This is a moral tale, the meaning of which is “slow and steady wins the race”. 

This fabulous window depicts the tortoise just passing the “finish” sign, whilst the sleepy hare is racing to catch him up. This stained glass window panel is traditionally painted with enamels and oxides, then kiln fired.

bThe techniques used are the same as church windows, which means the images are permanent. This is a leaded and cemented old fashioned style stained glass window, it could be fitted in any window.

Presently this piece is designed as an artwork, however if you wish to purchase this as a window, for installing in a door or window, please let me know and I can remove the hanging hooks so it can be glazed. Measures approx 15.5 inches in height by 10 inches in width.
